Description

It was the fruit of our concerted efforts that we could open a new mission station in Tanzania at Mbanagamao in Mbinga Diocese.
We were in search of a suitable place where people needed our presence and service. Initially we contacted the C.M. Fathers and expressed our desire to extend our services there. They invited us to visit the place and the then ex-Provincial Rev. Sr. Rosalind and Rev. Sr.Tresa Jancy reached Mbangamao on 2nd July 2012.After their visit we decided to send three sisters there to assist the fathers in their Apostolic works of Education and healing ministry. As a result the new Provincial Sr. Annie Wilsy and council completed the formalities and sent the first team of two sisters Rev.S r. Rosita and Sr. Ramya on 16th March 2013. Sr. Arpita joined them on 6th Oct.2013.

On 15th Jan. 2014 Rev.Sr. Annie Wilsy the Provincial Superior and Assistant Provincial Rev. Sr. Linda Thachil visited the place and raised the house as a convent with three members and named it St. Paul F.C Convent. Rev. Sr. Rosita took charge as the first Local Superior of the convent. Thus the dream of having an African Mission was materialized by the grace of Almighty God and by the impetus received from the Superior General Mother Sinclare.
