The Arch Bishop Mar Kuriakose Bharanikulangara of Faridabad-Delhi Diocese vide letter dated 10^th August 2017  invited St.paul Province , Delhi  to start a new convent in Gurgaon for the  pastoral  assistance for nurses  in Sacred Heart Forane Church, Gurgaon and its ‘peripheries’. The priests working there also expressed the necessity to have the presence of Religious sisters for the pastoral assistance in the area. It was also the decision of the Provincial Plenary Assembly of St. Paul Province, Delhi   held from 27^th to 31^st May 2017 to work among the nurses, as it is a felt need of the faithful in Delhi.  Thus on 4th  October 2017 St.Alphonsa Convent, Gurgaon was blessed and Inaugurated in a rented house. Rev. Sr. Annie Angel waas  appointed the first superior. Sr. Linsa Paul, the Provincial Councillor  and Sr. Udaya were appointed the community members.
