The mission station had a humble beginning on 31st July1996 in Chanpur Faridabad , Haryana at the request of Rev. Fr. Sebastian Vadakumpadan,then chaplain of the Syro Malabar Catholics in Delhi. The services of the sisters are social work,non-formal education,teaching in Kinder garten, village visit, formation of SHGs, supervising and co-ordinating of the rehabilitation centre etc. Karunalayam the home for the destitute which was shifted from Rajnagar is functioning in a very amazing way here with 19 poor and abandoned old ladies under the effective leadership and care of our sisters. The pioneers were Sr. Hilda,Sr. Tessy, Sr. Reema and Sr. Raisy.
