This convent took its origin in Baraut as the local people approached our sisters who had already begun missionary activities in Baghpat and requested for opening an English medium School here. Thus with the permission of then bishop Dr. Patrick Nair of Meerut diocese, the sisters openedChristu Jyothi Convent school in a rented house and stayed there as residential community. Rev. Sr. Rosalind, Sr. Darly Therese, Sr. Rani as the pioneers. Later the school and convent was shifted into a spacious campus on Chaprauli road in 1996. The main apostolate of sisters is education, family visits, faith formation and catechetical work etc. A poor girls boarding is functioning here with 23 students as a jewel in its crown. Christu Jyoti convent school has proved to be the best school in Baghpat district,U.P.
