Our sisters were invited by Mr.O.P.Verma former Chief Justice of Kerala to begin an English Medium school.  The area is backward having no facility for proper education.   Therefore the people of Garhmukteshwer were in a felt need to have an English medium school.  Initially our sisters started to stay in a house provided by the chief justice.   A K.G. School also was started by the sisters in the same building.  Later we purchased a plot of land and convent and school was constructed and inaugurated on 6th May 2005.  The pioneers were Sr. Annie Rubi, sr. Lucia and sr. Grace.  The main apostolate here is education. A Non Formal Education Centre is functioning in the old school building very effectively. Christu Jyothi Convent School is the best school in the locality.
