Description

Trinity convent Vidisha is the first mission station of St. Paul Province, Delhi, established in the year 1970. Vidisha is 60 km away from Bhopal, the capital town of Madhya Pradesh and 5 km away from the world tourism heritage 'Sanchi Sthupa'. Late bishop Rt. Rev. Dr. Clemense Thottungal CMI of Sagar Diocese invited us to begin the convent and a school at Vidisha.   Initially the sisters stayed in a rented house and started the school in 1970 with 7 children.   Later the present convent and school was built and shifted to the new building in 1971.   The main apostolate here is education, family visit, Pastoral work and non-formal education for the children of economically and socially backward class.  The pioneers who had extended dedicated service here were Mother Mary Agnes,Sr.Agila and Sr. Lissette
