Christu Jyoti Convent High School, Baghpat had its beginning in the year 1986 with the objective to provide religious formation to the young sisters. When the convent was erected in Baghpat, people of the locality came forward with their strong desire to open an English medium school as the area was backward and they lacked proper educational facilities. Late Rev. Mother Demetria, Late Mother Breezia, Rev. Mother Leander and Sr. Lisset were the pioneer missionaries. In 1986 the school was started in its own building with a small group of children. Currently it has 1762 students and 53 staff members.
